About Us

Legally Centre

A public-interest legal-information and justice-navigation portal under The UNITION native charters — country by country across six continents, beginning with India.

Purpose

A just friend in need

Legally Centre exists for justice seekers — especially people from deprived, marginalised, or resource-constrained sections who face barriers in understanding or accessing legal remedies.

Our mission

  • Build legal awareness and explain rights in plain language.
  • Identify applicable constitutional, statutory, administrative, and human-rights remedies.
  • Navigate courts, tribunals, legal-services authorities, regulators, and grievance systems.
  • Support structured, neutral documentation of alleged violations.
  • Open referral, assistance, advocacy, and advisory pathways through UNITION country charters.

What we are not

The portal provides legal information, procedural navigation, documentation support, and referral pathways. It does not provide case-specific legal advice, does not replace an advocate, and is not a court, tribunal, government authority, or provider of certified legal records.

Every published legal proposition should carry an official or authoritative source and a review date.

Guiding principles

How the work is done

Access first

Simple language, mobile-first design, low-bandwidth pages, and multilingual readiness.

Source first

Every legal proposition cites an official or authoritative source, with a visible review date.

Natural justice

Fairness, notice, hearing, reasoned decisions, impartiality, and non-arbitrariness are explicit themes.

Human-rights lens

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, 1948, and India's constitutional guarantees guide interpretation.

Privacy by design

Minimise personal data and keep confidential assistance records separate from published content.

No impersonation

Legally Centre is clearly distinct from courts, tribunals, government bodies, and official record systems.

Accountability

Editorial, legal-review, and audit logs are kept for every published legal item.
